The world around me was a blur of colors and sounds as I slowly regained consciousness. I felt disoriented, as if I had been asleep for a long time. As my senses gradually came back to me, I realized that I was lying on a soft bed in a room filled with the warm glow of candles.
Sitting up, I looked around, trying to make sense of my surroundings. The room was decorated in rich, deep colors, with tapestries hanging on the walls and intricate carvings adorning the furniture. It felt both familiar and strange at the same time.
As I tried to gather my thoughts, the door to the room swung open, and a woman entered. She was tall and regal, with long, flowing hair the color of midnight. Her eyes sparkled with an otherworldly light, and I felt a sense of awe and reverence wash over me.
"Welcome, young one," she said, her voice like music. "You have been chosen to fulfill a great destiny."
I blinked, unsure of what she meant. "Chosen? Destiny?" I stammered.
The woman smiled, a knowing look in her eyes. "Yes, you are the one we have been waiting for. You are of the blood of the Golden Dragons, the ancient race of shape-shifters who once walked this land. It is time for you to awaken to your true self and embrace your heritage."
I felt a surge of excitement and curiosity. Golden Dragons? Shape-shifters? It all sounded like something out of a fairy tale, but deep down, I knew that there was truth in her words.
The woman extended her hand to me. "Come, young one. It is time for you to begin your training and discover the power that lies within you."
I took her hand, feeling a sense of purpose and determination welling up inside me. Whatever lay ahead, I was ready to face it. My journey as a Golden Dragon had only just begun.
